The Impact Collaborative Summit helps increase Cooperative Extension's organizational readiness and capacity for innovation and change by connecting teams with skills, tools, resources and partners that can expand and deepen their impact. Participating teams will receive one on one support from coaches to help identify gaps in their project and program planning, and have access to our network of expert Key Informants to help fill those gaps.

The January 2022 Impact Collaborative Summit is open to all Extension Foundation Members, current New Technologies for Ag Extension (NTAE) projects, and teams invited by ECOP. Non-members participating on teams led by members can attend. The registration deadline is December 19th, 2022.

Any type of Extension project or program team is encouraged to attend. Additionally, this Summit will have a special focus on Climate Resilience in partnership with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy’s (ECOP) Climate Program Action Team. The purpose is to catalyze Cooperative Extension’s awareness and capacity to implement programming that will increase climate resilience in the communities Extension serves. In addition to the time spent working on programs and projects with a network of coaches and expert Key Informants, Summit participants will also:

  • Identify a connection between the work they do and climate resiliency.
  • Increase awareness of climate resiliency work being done by Extension colleagues nationally and what resources and supports are available.
  • Receive assistance for projects and programs that are ready to help communities receive and utilize federal funds.
  • Gain knowledge to improve equity in the impacts of climate resiliency and the benefits of addressing climate resiliency.
